Making a B-Line for the North East

To improve biodiversity, particularly wildflower-rich grassland habitats for insect pollinators, by developing a connected network of B-Lines in the North East of England. The overall project aims to restore c.10 hectares of neglected species-rich grassland (neutral and magnesian), create/restore a further c.10 hectares of neutral and magnesian grassland that can be used and enjoyed by local communities and provide advice and some training for Local authority staff and contractors so they have the skills and abilities to maintain the grassland
