Making Sidley count

We will convert a damp and used basement into three new community rooms. We will convert this space within our community building, we will be able to provide more community space and services for the people in this ward. This ward is one of the poorest in the County and compares to some of the poorest in the Country.

This floor will be open to the public for 50 weeks of the year seven days a week. It will allow more community space in a ward with very few community buildings. We currently host over 75 different groups weekly (from table tennis, foodbank, breathers for people with COPD to benefits support and assessment and Job Centre +) in our existing floors. We have more demand than we can cater for, and this will give more space for more community activities to support the local community. We have over 25 new partners that will run services to meet need locally.

The rooms will be open for all groups to run services that support local people in need.
