Making the Rosamund Preager Sculpture on the Thompson Pump House accessible

It is proposed to make safe and attractive the area to the west of the Thompson pump house, adjacent to the Rosemund Preager Sculpture. The area will be re-surfaced and a protective fence added to the edge of the Alexandria Dry Dock with some remedial work to the memorial itself. The area is of major significance for the following reasons: The War Memorial itself, the link with maritime heritage and the Titanic in particular, the sculptress herself, and the general attractive ambiance that may be created.
