Making Tracks (Highgate Wood)

The project will improve accessibility to Highgate Wood by improving footpaths making them accessible in accordance with The Equality & Diversity Act 2010. Specifically it will. - Improve the Foregate entrance to make it usable by wheelchairs. - Re-make footpaths using tarmac within the designated flood zone (to meet the requirements of the Environment Agency) and recycled surfacing material (Toptrek) in higher areas. - Extend the existing timber boardwalk to bridge a section of path which is particularly muddy. - Repair parts of the existing boardwalk which are in a poor condition.
