Manchester Deaf Centre Refurbishment (Phase 3)

Manchester Deaf Centre provides a range of support, advice and social activities for hard of hearing to profoundly deaf users of all ages and to hearing beneficiaries (97% of deaf babies are born to hearing parents) and members of the general public. It is also the leading provider of training courses to business and the public in Deaf Awareness and British Sign Language. The Centre is used by a range of other community groups and is open to the public Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm and selected evenings. It has operated from its present premises for over 30 years and is badly in need of refurbishment. The project is for support towards the costs of the third and final phase of a large-scale refurbishment and specifically for renewal of toilet facilities, redecoration throughout and new signage.
