Mangotsfield Village Hall Updating, St James Church, Mangotsfield, Bristol

This is a project to update the internal structure of St James’ Church Hall in Mangotsfield. The main hall has its original sprung timber floor which has been sanded and re-varnished many times. It is now beyond this and requires replacement with a more appropriate material. Replacing the floors will require removal of the current skirting boards which will also need replacing. There is a need to establish small meeting room/admin type facilities, with updated electrics, internet access and control of an audio-visual system. This will be done by converting one of the side rooms. The ceiling in the side rooms and the main hall are in need of repair following water damage prior to the roof repair. On completion of these works internal redecoration will take place. All material that is recyclable will be recycled.
