Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark – Fencing

The ultimate aim/objective of this project is to erect approximately 2km of stockproof fencing surrounding the boundary of the Marble Arch Caves Global Geopark Visitors Centre. The land surrounding the Visitor’s Centre is of local, regional and national conservation signifiance comprising a number of designated areas and containing a number of habtiats and species which are priority at a UK and Northern Ireland level. The land is currently being actively grazed and in order to ensure that appropriate stocking densities are maintained, and the land is mainained in favourable condition adequate stockproof fencing is required.
