Marden Park Chalk Grassland

The restoration and management of five pockets of open chalk grassland within Marden Wood. The total area of grassland is approx 2 hectares within 60 hectares of ancient and secondary woodland. The project will include fencing to enable continued conservation grazing, annual cutting of other grassland fragments and mechanical cutting of woody scrub.
