Marine Lake Enthusiasts – Changing Facilities

Clevedon’s sea front Marine Lake is a key component of Clevedon Promenade Park which is the principal open space of the resort. Clevedon Town Council therefore see the restoration and development of Marine Lake as a key objective to sustaining a vibrant high quality promenade for the health and economic well – being of the town and its community. It is enjoyed by local people of all ages as well as by day visitors from Greater Bristol and tourists to North Somerset.
The grant will contribute towards the cost of converting part of the Boat House building on Clevedon seafront into male and female changing rooms and a toilet. On completion of these works these enhanced amenities will be made freely available to all Marine Lake users. Currently there are no dedicated changing spaces and users are required to access public ‘pay’ toilets located further along the Promenade. In -situ amenities will greatly enhance user experience (Quotation and specification of works appended.
