Market Bosworth Sports and Social Club Drainage Works

The intention of the project is to improve the drainage of the site. The aim of the project is to make the ground more fit for purpose for both the present and future users. The following works have been advised as necessary:1. Remove all debris from a ditch to the west and south of the site. The ditch flows towards Wellsborough Road;2. Dig out the existing ditch coarses.3. Dig drainage ditches at 5mt intervals install drainage pipes and back fill with shale loose gravel materail, and cover with 300mm of top soil and re-instated turfed areas.Whilst the club is aiming to develop the whole site, the renovation of the drainage system needs to be separated from the overall development of the site, as even in the process of developing the clubhouse, there will still be participation in sport by MBFC and MBCC.
