Main Hall Floor and Stage Renewal

The hall has on average 255 people a week use the facilities. The floor has been showing signs of movement over the past few years. The applicant engaged a specialist flooring contractor to investigate why the floor was moving. The results showed that dry rot existed in the underfloor timbers that were the original timbers since the construction of the building in 1876.

Full floor replacement requires removal and re-erection of the stage.

WREN funding is requested to go towards the new main hall floor.
