Market Lavington PC - Fitness and Sports Facility

To create a ‘sporting hub’ at the Elisha Field, with facilities available to use free of charge, to everyone of all ages in the village and surrounding community, for the benefit of all ages, in order to promote both physical and mental wellbeing. Some of the facilities can be installed quite easily ourselves, items such as the creation of a simple running track, with marked distances etc. However, the Parish Council would please like your support to help fund 4 pieces of exercise equipment, which will help form the centre piece of the project. This equipment is designed to be used outdoors, the largest piece being partly accessible, and each piece having specific health and fitness benefits for the body. The public will be able to access this equipment at a time that suits them, and it can be used unsupervised.
