Market Overton's Play Enhancement Appeal for Increased Inclusive use

Following a review of the village play area in February 2011 through a village wide questionnaire it was identified that the following was required: - a wider range of play equipment for pre-school age children - improvement of the football area - the introduction of facilities for teenagers, a group not currently catered for The play area is now 13 years old and the recent review has identified that it is again time to spend a significant amount of meney to bring the play area in line with current village needs. Villages naturally go through a cycle of different ages and there are currently a large number of young families in the village. In line with the identified needs, we therefore would like to do the following: - instal a toddler playscape - instal a multi use games area - relocate existing facilities to cater for new equipment - update existing equipment and ground work as required
