Markham Vale Heritage Walking Trail

To install three steel markers on the site of the former Markham Colliery as part of a wider overall project to commemorate miners who lost their lives in three major mining disasters. Each marker will symbolise a miner. The markers are galvanised and a lighter colour on one side to symbolise the miner going to work, the other side will be a darker shade to represent him returning home.
