Marsh Street Arches & Garden Project, Barrow

The garden has four main areas:
The picnic area where families can eat outside and use the BBQ.
The quiet garden where people can walk around and see a variety of plants, fruit trees and herbs.
The promenade which is the main route to the gardens and which will access the arches.
The arches which will be converted for a variety of potential uses.
The request for funding is for two elements;
An arbour over the main outside space, of galvanised steel and wire to provide a frame/shaded area when climbers grow. Each upright will have a planting box below.
Upgrade one arch to act as the community base for the project. Hot water is to be supplied through use of solar panels on the arbour.
