Marske Village Green – ‘Turning the Tide’ Project

The ‘Turning the Tide’ project centres on Marske Village Green, at the moment an underused area of green space within the small town of Marske. The site is a barren expanse of amenity grassland with no defensible space or visual amenity. The site is adjoined by and overlooked on all sides by housing, making it ripe for improvement to maximize its potential as a community space.
The project aims to work with local residents and young people of Marske on the final consultation leading to the development and implementation of a site which will be an improved amenity for young and old alike, and in doing so helping to break down barriers between different user groups
