Marton cum Grafton Sports Pavilion Refurbishment

Refurbish the current sports pavilion located at the Marton cum Grafton Sports Field. An internal restructuring to include electric and plumbing and an external cladding of the existing sports pavilion in order to allow the wider community and village school to utilise the existing cricket pitch, community tennis courts, 5 a side football pitch and outdoor classroom. Consultation with the community confirmed that the current pavilion is deemed unfit for purpose and that with no running water and being riddled with damp, broken windows, missing floorboards cannot be used by the community's children. Interested volunteers from the community are assisting in: fundraising, running events to raise capital such as boot camps and a village sports day, building and donating both services and fixtures and fitting for the new premises. The Pavilion committee will also consist of volunteers giving up their time to administrate the finances, hiring, maintenance and insurance of the premises on an ongoing basis.
