Masham Town Hall Improvements Stage 3

Masham Town Hall is a Grade II listed building, built in 1912, providing recreational, cultural, sporting and educational events, and meeting spaces. Masham Town Hall Community Charity [MTHCC] have been working to improve the building and bring its facilities up to date, with over £200,000 spent on this rolling project. This Stage of works will provide:
•a new boiler to replace 32-year-old unit;
•refurbishment of the ladies and disabled toilets;
•refurbishment & redecoration of the external windows, including 24 listed leaded lights;
•improved foyer/corridor lighting in terms of quality, aesthetics and energy efficiency;
•necessary works to the external staircase (power cleaning and painting with non-slip paint) and wall (repointing) leading to our lift control room;
•replacement of our Main Hall chairs and Small Hall café-style tables, which are more than 30 years old;
•the creation of a permanent bar/refreshment facility to improve the Town Hall’s offer for in-house events and community hires
