Matlock Parks Project

The aim of the project is to return to favourable condition associated habitats within the Ravine Woodlands typically found in the steep limestone dales of the White Peak. These woodlands within the White peak form the larges areas of this habitat type in Britain and are some of the highest quality examples of this woodland type throughout Europe.
