The aim of this project is to;

• Create a Seed Bank to secure a supply of plant seed that is good for pollinating insects and secure the future of rare and threatened plant species
• Collect, clean and store seed from across Cumbria to be grown on to ‘plug plants’ in the community plant nursery.
• Restore create and restore 6 parcels of flower-rich meadow across 27 hectares using the plants grown in the nursery to create a corridor for pollinating insect migration.
