Meadow Vale ‘Café Plus’, Meadow Vale Community Association (MVCA), St George, Bristol

This is a project to create a vibrant community café at MCVA’s Meadow Vale Community Centre. This requires fully modernising the kitchen, unchanged in 20 years. The facility will need redecorating; all white goods upgraded and sinks and storage units replaced. The project also involves the provision of indoor and outdoor furnishings for the café, plus front of house goods eg crockery. The café will also have a soft play area for youngsters and a Wi-Fi café bar area with computers available for general use and out-of-hours tuition classes.
