Meadvale Hall – Stop the Rot

The hall dates from 1850 and is in need of some work to stop deterioration from damp. Work is needed to clear many years of waste material which rests against the hall and prevents air circulating a retaining wall is needed to prevent this happening again. Guttering needs replacing as does a small flat roof. Water is entering through the front wall of the hall which needs making good. The inside of the wall needs replacement of plywood cladding which has decayed because of the damp. The hall will then need redecorating and the toilets need to be tiled and made watertight. This will also increase the energy efficiency of the building and reduce our carbon footprint.
