Meanwood Valley Urban Farm Play Area Refurbishment

The project involves the removal of the old play equipment and the purchase and installation of new elements including a Wobble Board, Inclined Twine, Pin Ball, Noughts & Crosses and musical interactive panels. Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is a registered charity and was established in 1980 to provide services to inner city communities. It is not only a working farm with a wide variety of animals but also provides environmental education services to schools, foundation learning, alternative programmes for adults with learning disabilities and high school pupils who are experiencing problems with main stream education, training, holiday play schemes, conference facilities, allotments and leisure events and activities. There is also a shop and a café using eggs and vegetables from the Farm and other locally sourced foods.
