Mearns Coastal Heritage Access Project

This project will enable the public to access a spectacular stretch of coastline which is currently privately owned farmland in line with the regional vision for long coastal footpaths. It will create a new path with supporting low-key interpretation to enhance the public’s enjoyment of a 4km stretch of coast. The project will enhance public access to an important and dramatic coastal wildlife site within easy access of 240,000 local people and tens of thousands of annual visitors.
