Measham Station Refurbishment

The project is to refurbish the derelict Measham Station building into a Heritage Museam.

The main elements of the physical work required to carry out the project are as follows;
•Work to the fabric of the station building including substructure, re-roofing, external walls, removal and replacement where necessary of inappropriate doors and windows.
•Internal works, including insulation of external walls and new plastering of internal walls, internal walls, internal doors, wall and floor finishes, insulation etc. This is to ensure a stable environment, ceilings, electrics, mechanical services, display equipment and lighting.
•External works, including provision of a surfaced forecourt, car parking, fencing and planting.

WREN funding is sought towards the re-roofing of the building
