Melling Village Hall Centenary Project 1922-2022

A two phase project. NOTE The current grant from LEF covers PHASE 1 only.
Phases 1 and 2 are stand alone projects but linked together will provide excellent facilities for public and users.
PHASE 1: To enlarge and improve kitchen facilities with clearly designated areas for food storage and preparation, cooking facilities and wash up area. To improve flow and space for required number of personnel to work in safety. To provide adequate bar facilities for effective service with wash up area and secure storage for alcohol and soft drinks. Service hatches for both kitchen and bar. Phase 1 provides much needed improvement to deliver they type of event the Hall is best known for.

PHASE 2: To square off the rear of the building to provide enlarged and improved toilet facilities, a small green room/committee room and storage areas. This to include improved environmental considerations including solar array and appropriate insulation etc. To improve flow of personnel and materials throughout the building.
