Memorial Park, Environmental Improvements, Gt Harwood

The project will rejuvenate two areas of the park. Firstly, the area around the war memorial will be improved to create a sensory garden area making it easier for the Friends of the Memorial Park to maintain, secondly access improvements will be made to the biological heritage site woodland within the park improving the footpaths, updating nature trail interpretation and creating a woodland seating area which will have a dual purpose as a Forest School teaching area and general community seating area.
