Memorial Park Improvements

• Installation of two recycled plastic raised beds in keeping with existing style on site.
• Installation of two wood-effect barrel water butts, to support sustainable water use
• Horticultural mulch to be available for existing planting beds and tree pits.
• Vegetation clearance to the rear of the garden building and around compost area.
• Re-ordering of existing compost area so that the system is functioning.

The project will prepare up to 12 local unemployed people to move towards employment by building their confidence and preparing them to sit the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test. Passing this test will earn participants the highly sought after CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card, enabling them to work in practical industries such as landscaping and construction.
