Memorial Park, Kirkby – Play Area Improvements (50009/D)

The existing infant play equipment, bow top fencing and apex fencing will be removed. Existing tarmac and wet pour surfacing will be removed where appropriate. One existing see-saw, one springy and a litter bin will be taken up, cleaned and re-painted and returned to the Park. Equipment for 0-12 year olds will be installed.A natural wall feature around the area with utilising excavated material from the improvements. The area will be landscaped with turf and wildflower. 12 trees will be planted. The playing pitch will be levelled and drained. The skate area will have drainage installed. The project includes preliminaries, contingencies, basic landscape fees, quantity surveying and site supervision.

The Trust grant is a contribution towards the play area improvements.
