Mepal Recreation Field Drainage Project

This project will install a drainage system at Mepal recreation ground in order to make it useable all year round. Currently many events and sporting activities have to be cancelled when the field becomes too wet and boggy and the need to install an adequate drainage system was established in the village appraisal which clearly shows community desire for an adequate sports area for all ages. This drainage project costing £40K in total is part of a larger project that also involved constructing a brand new pavilion
