Mere Sands Wood – New Visitor Centre Phase 1’

Phase 1 of the redevelop the visitor centre by the development of a new reception area for
visitors with welcome facilities, toilets and interpretation boards; sales area and refreshments
area. The addition of an events area that can be used for meetings, small events and public
activities will increase versatility. The entrance to the reserve and car park facilities are in need
of upgrading and the new buildings need landscaping into the nature reserve’s environment.
