Mersea Island Active Communities – Floodlights Installation, Mersea Island RFC (MIRFC), Essex

This is a project to install floodlights at The Glebe Recreation Ground in Mersea. The recreation ground is the only dedicated sports ground on Mersea Island. It is a shared ground that accommodates to football clubs, a cricket club, and a rugby club. All clubs have strong youth development programmes and a great emphasis is put on providing sporting opportunities for all ie female, disabled and children from less well-off backgrounds.
