Merville Gardens Environmental Enhancement Works

The project has two aspects the regeneration of Lovers’ Lane and the control and eradication of Japanese Knotweed. Lovers lane is a walkway running up the middle of Merville Garden Village. According to the Environment Agency it is one of the most interesting features in the Mervill Gardens Conservation Area. Work will be undertaken to improve access, replant trees and native hedgerow and proide habitat restoration for a number of bird species.
