Middleton Cheney World War I Memorial

This project is for the restoration (and where necessary replacement of elements) of the Middleton Cheney World War I Memorial originally paid for by the residents of the village and unveiled in 1921. Built of local Honiton Stone it has weathered badly with layers of stone now flaking off making it potentially unsafe in the future.Some of the names are now unreadable with some missing entirely. This project will restore the memorial and provide a place of remembrance for the entire village for generations to come.
