Middleton Cricket Club – Replacement of the ball stopping nets

The nets that we have on the Rochdale Road part of the ground have been there for 20+ years. They were erected on the roof of a walkway by volunteer members of the Club and have been repaired by the same members over the years, they are now so rusty that they have become a danger, also the netting has been repaired so many times.
