Milkhall Pond - Pond management to provide valuable habitat for wetland birds, dragon/ damselflies, amphibians

Habitat management work will remove vegetation from part of the largest pond on site to prevent loss of open water. This will mean that the pond continues to provide valuable habitat for wildfowl, Odonata (dragon / damselflies) and amphibians. Work will be carried out by a local SWT Training Team thus providing valuable training for local unemployed.
