Mill on the Fleet: Wildlife Camera Project

The project is to install a video camera attached to a telescope (often referred to as a digiscope) in the Mill on the Fleet Visitor Centre. This would be installed in the corner of the main exhibition area on the first floor of the centre. It would be pointed at the River Fleet, where dippers and kingfishers nest nearby. The intention is that locals and visitors can observe these birds and other passing wildlife without disturbance to the wildlife. Thereby adding to the centre facilities and contributing to its long term sustainability.
