The aims of the project are as follows: •Restoration of the existing banks. •Improvement to the 'beach' area so as to allow access to the water line. •Stabilisation of two badly eroded islands, including bank treatment to create natural habitats. •Introduction of aquatic planting. •Creation of a pond dipping area. •Design and supply of plants for the park's Shirley Way entrance in order to create a safe and inviting place. •Production of educational/interpretational material.
