Milton Avenue Green Space project, Podsmead

The Milton Avenue Green Space is currently a run down and unmanaged area within a socially deprived community. The area includes a balancing pond, small woodland, and grasslands. The project will transform this area into a great place for people and wildlife. Habitats will be improved and created, visitor infrastructure will be installed including a pond viewing platform and a foot bridge. The community will be involved in the whole transformation process to ensure an area is created that is valued by local people and sustainable.
