Milton Community Centre Youth Building

The project is to construct and furnish a new community building to facilitate youth work and general public hire. The project will enable more constructive work with young people in the village, leading to a reduction in the youth crime and vandalism and teenage health problems. For the past 4 and a half years an old portacabin has been used to provide youth services to the community, which has shown that there is a need and demand for such a facility within the village. However, the portacabin is now coming to the end of its life and a more permanent building is required to accommodate the well attended youth club and provide meeting facilities for youth related activities and other groups.
