Minera Quarry Community Consultation and Feasibility Study

Following conversations with Lafarge a community groups (the Minera Quarry Trust) has come together with the aim of managing the redundant Minera Quarry for the benefit of the local community. In essential preparation for this Groundwork Wrexham & Flintshire, an environmental charity with considerable experience in delivering community consultations, is proposing to work with the group to consult the local community about how they would like to see the quarry used in the future. They will subsequently put together a feasibility study looking at options, costs and legal responsibility following consultation with organisations and staturory bodies
