Miners’ Memorial Garden

Our aim for the Garden is to create an accessible, peaceful, outdoor space for contemplation and commemoration, on the Museum site. This will allow all who visit to share memories of what coal mining meant to many generations. It will commemorate those who were part of the industry, including those who died while mining and through mining related diseases.
