Following the recommendations of a recent Government energy audit the aim of the project is to reduce the running costs of the Village Hall, lower the carbon footprint of the building and reduce noise impact on neighbours by replacing existing ill fitting single glazed windows and doors with double glazing units. UPVC window frames will be galvanised steel reinforced doors will be green powder coated aluminium. Both heat retention and security will be improved. Window opening vents will feature a multi point shoot bolt locking system. Doors will have high security locks consisting of claw hooks, roller shoot bolts and dead bolts.
