Moniaive Riverside Path

This project aims to build an off road path providing a safe route between the east end of the village and the centre of the village avoiding a busy road with no footway. It will link the playing fields and wildlife garden with the primary school and will provide access into the countryside. The project will also improve the wildlife value of the river by excluding grazing on the river banks, planting of native plants and provision of bird and bat boxes. The provision of seats, signs and wildlife interpretation will encourage people to appreciate the riverside environment and the link between the school and existing wildlife garden will allow better use of an existing resource.
