Monkey Park Play Area, Brampton – Equipment

To replace a worn out and dated play area with a new modern play space with equipment for use by all age groups and children with disabilities. Monkey Park is the only green space with a play area within easy reach of young people which is vital for their health and well being.
Funding for all the play equipment, safer surfacing and other external works i.e. extending the play space tarmac and fencing.
The existing play area is over 20 years old, dated although serviceable but the safer surfacing has become unsafe. There is a high percentage of children and young people in an area of high density housing. The play area is situated in on of the top 40% most deprived wards in the UK.
