Monks Kirby Village Hall, Rugby – Community Hall Improvement

The project will make structural changes to a valued community asset, allowing the village hall to be used much more effectively by a wider group of community users. By removing a central pillar in the village hall’s main room, the project will eliminate a visual and physical obstruction that has, for decades, limited the type of events that can be held.

Creating one large meeting space, the project will allow audience events to take place as well as communal activities such as yoga, providing a safe, usable space for community groups. The project also includes replacement of the hall’s ceiling and installation of new lighting.
