Montagu and North Fenham FC – pitch surface

To replace 3G playing surface in local community based football club in suburb of Newcastle.

The current 3G playing surface which has been in use for many years has become extremely dilapidated in places and is too dangerous to use safely. As a consequence it is in urgent need of repair and the organisation is having to restrict the number of people using the facility and where they can go.

The grant will see an improvement of the facility to once again make it fit for purpose and fully usable. It will mean children, young people and other groups who hire the pitch can train and play football (and other sports) in a safe environment..

Additionally it will once again be able to be fully utilised by the community in general and other community groups who wish to offer services and events to the local community in a safe secure environment.
