Monty’s Community Hub Refurbishment

Monty’s is fantastically located for community access, but the building is in need of refurbishment if it is to remain fit for purpose and for activities to continue. Funding will firstly enable the group to improve security of the site by replacing some of the windows, the front door and ill-functioning shutter. Funding will be used to improve the infrastructure of the building by upgrading the broadband and installing an integral security system and sound system. Access for disabled people and families with babies and small children will be increased by refurbishing the toilet facilities. The kitchen will be replaced with a small catering kitchen, allowing Monty’s to host a greater range of events (including cooking/nutrition workshops).
