Moor Copse nature reserve hedge work

Moor Copse nature reserve is made up of wet woodland, meadow and riverside. Having recently purchased an extension, which doubles the size of this reserve, there is much work to be done to enable the wildlife to spread across the habitat and visitors to enjoy it to the full. This project would enable better access to visitors by creating and maintaining the hedges on the site. It would also provide more cover and food plants for the wildlife which visitors come to see. The site is renowned for woodland flowers, butterflies and moths, and the hedge works will allow the wildlife to move onto the extension, while providing clear routes for visitors to follow.
