Moor Farm Park, Hereford – Junior Play Equipment (40248/D)

The project aim is to provide play equipment for junior and teenage children. We want to provide a mix of natural play features and modern, metal equipment that will challenge older children and that they will enjoy. Our proposed equipment will be accessible to children with disabilities, with clearly coloured features to help visually impaired children, and items such as a nest swing that give good support to mobility impaired children. The playground will be fenced, but this is because it is close to a fast flowing brook. We will be retaining two trees already on the site, and they will give shade to our picnic table area. We will also be planting bulbs next autumn, with the help of volunteers of all ages. The Trust grant will contribute towards the play equipment and installation.
